With more than 20 years in the hospitality design business Karen expanded into residential design in 2017. KMHH offers a large range of services and is passionate about listening first and then providing their client their home through a new and cohesive vision, space planning, FF... specification (furniture, fabrics, art, framing, window-treatments, floor-treatments, free-standing lighting, plantings, antiques, electronics [TV’s, Bluetooth speakers], accessories and décor) color palette selection, architectural features and design recommendations, art investing, art commissions, purchasing on behalf of the client and installation oversight.
It is important to note that Karen herself is an "Interior Design Consultant", not an "Interior Designer" and cannot make structural changes (removing or moving walls or windows and the like) without an Architect being brought into the process. That is why Karen has brought on Ms. Maria Arhire, AIA, LEED to the team.
