My work is guided by a simple belief that a life well-lived is one rooted in faith, self-discipline, and helping people, in everything I think, say, and do. That belief shapes how I design spaces, thoughtfully, humanely, in service to others. For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with homeowners and restaurant owners to bring their design visions to life. My designs are rooted in the years I spent working alongside my late husband, Richard McCooey, in our Georgetown-based design firm. Richard was a vibrant, delightful light of a person, a genius, and together we traveled widely, collaborating on some of the world’s finest restaurants, resorts, and private homes. I’m deeply grateful for the time I had with Richard and the life we shared. That legacy continues to inspire and guide every project I undertake.
