Initial Process
We have Meeting #1 before you formally hire us, by phone, in-person, or virtual, to discuss the project, and its scope, budget, timeline, our services and detailed design process I send you a proposal listing the exact services we offer, and pricing options to meet your scope, for your review and consideration We talk again to go over your questions You decide whether or not to hire us Services
Design Phase I Meeting #2: The Design Interview. Request items after this meeting: - Any available floor plans or architectural drawings - Measurements, as close as possible. - Photos and measurements of any furniture, furnishings, art, or architectural features you would keep. Create: - In-depth written design analysis. - New design vision. - Defined design style. - Color palette. - Space planning, furniture, floor, and room layouts. - Mock-ups: . 2D furniture and room layout. . 3D wall elevations. . 3D room images/renderings/illustrations. . Mood boards. - General recommendations for furniture, furnishings, finishes, art, lighting. - General itemized budget estimate. Meeting #3: Presentation to you by Karen of this preliminary phase, Design Phase II In addition to Phase I: Recommend exact specifications for paint color, furniture, furnishings, finishes, art, lighting. Offer art consulting. Create the itemized budget estimate to correspond with mood boards (and links if you prefer to handle the purchasing.) Meeting #4: Presentation to you by Karen of this advanced phase. Design Phase III & Phase IV In addition to Phase I & II (required) Procurement; purchasing, receiving, inspecting. White Glove Service; delivery, installation, and set-up. Serve as a liaison with construction professionals on new builds, remodels, and renovations. |
