​Karen McCooey Studios is owned and operated by Karen McCooey. With more than 26 years in the design business Karen delivers the finest taste and care for her clients.

Karen McCooey Studios offers a large range of services. Karen is passionate about listening first and then providing clients a new and cohesive vision, space planning, specification (furniture, fabrics, art, framing, window-treatments, floor-treatments, free-standing lighting, plantings, antiques, accessories and décor) paint / color palette selection, architectural features and design recommendations, art investing, art commissions, purchasing on behalf of the client and installation oversight.

This year is Karen's 26th Year Anniversary working in design. She sees these next 20 years full of growth opportunities for the hospitality and building industries worldwide. Because of Karen McCooey's design heritage and boutique size, she is uniquely positioned to step in and become an important part of your design team, working with you, your architect, carpenters, or engineer. or bringing in her entire team.

Karen continues the design philosophy of her late-husband, Richard: "soul." This is the single idea and purpose, to bring soul to your space.  This permeates the Karen McCooey Studios design mission from beginning to end and differentiates her from all others.
